# Edara API v3: Cost Centers

Read the [guide](../guide.md) first: authentication, paging, errors, rate limits and the shared `PagedResult`, `BatchResult` and `*Reference` shapes.

- `GET /v3/cost-centers`: Lists cost centers.
- `GET /v3/cost-centers/{id}`: Gets a cost center by id.

## Endpoints

### `GET /v3/cost-centers`: Lists cost centers.

Operation `GetCostCenters` · permission `read:cost-center`

**Query string**: `GetCostCentersQuery`

| field | type | default | validation | description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| `offset` | `int?` | 0 | >= 0 | Number of items to skip before returning results. Defaults to 0. |
| `limit` | `int?` | 100 | 1..1000 (out of range → 400) | Maximum number of items to return. Defaults to 100, maximum 1000. |

**Responses**: OK `PagedResult<CostCenterResponse>`: Paged list of cost centers.

**Notes**

- The list only includes cost centers the calling user has data permission for.
- Inactive cost centers are included, and both parent and leaf cost centers are returned.
- Results are ordered by classification code. `totalCount` is the number of cost centers you are permitted to see, but it is 0 when the page is empty, including when `offset` is past the end.
